Dear Cabarrus Virtual Families,
This week, we look forward to welcoming many students to campus. Math I students will take their benchmark assessments on Wednesday, and all rising 9th–12th graders should pick up their schedules on Thursday. Seniors will participate in the Senior Walk at Winkler on Friday morning—please remember to wear your cap and gown, along with comfortable shoes.
While some students will attend the STEM field trip on Thursday, tutoring and support will be available for those who are not attending.
I hope you have a wonderful week!

Navigate U at Rowan Cabarrus Community College is a free three-day program designed to help new students get a strong start on their college experience.
Students who attend all three days will receive hands-on support as they transition from high school to college in a structured, welcoming environment. They will be introduced to the college, explore career pathways, meet other students, connect with faculty and staff, learn about campus resources, make sure their financial aid is complete, and even register for classes. It is also a great way for them to build friendships and feel more confident as they head into their first semester.
As an added bonus, students who complete the program will be eligible for a $100 bookstore credit and other swag.
Sessions will take place July 29 through July 31, 2026, on both the North Campus in Salisbury and the South Campus in Concord.
